Meet Parita

Hi, I’m Parita, the creative director, founder, and visionary behind ParDesi Pulse. My journey into dance is a bit out of the "dancer norm." As a child, my mom enrolled me in various dance classes—from Indian classical to ballet to hip hop—but dance just wasn’t my cup of chai.

At 16, I was ‘voluntold’ to perform at a family wedding, an experience I dreaded. As I hit my final pose and walked off stage with a sigh of relief, an aunty approached me and said, “You’re a great dancer! Do you take classes?”

That moment awakened the dancer within me, and I finally understood the meaning of the saying I’d often heard: “You’re never too old to start something new!”
